You don't wanna mess up your artwork

That is my kind of love-making.

Treating her body as a canvas,
selecting all colours very carefully,

paying special attention to all the shades the canvas will be subjected to; keep the brush strokes gentle where and when necessary.

But do give up the delicacy from time to time.
And when the artwork begins to take form,
complement it with some tongue-work. Be consistent. Be involved with your masterpiece.
You do not wanna mess up your artwork, for this is the one which looks best when wet.

A Wolf

Text in the picture:

Zealously passionate;
A wild beast lurking in the woods,
I am.

Pervasive darkness;
An all-consuming abyss,
I am.

Chaos within;
Mad love, accept me for the Wolf,
I am.

I have always loved wolves. I do not quite know, why I developed this peculiar affinity with them, or how I relate myself to them. I just love them. Perhaps, for no reason at all, or, perhaps, for some reason which I may discover later in my life.

P.S. Anyway, have a look at my piece of art and rambling. Feel free to post your critical comments.

The blind can see.

Pardon me, young lady, for I am a blind person.
I am unfortunate to not being able to see your beauty;
But I can touch.

I wish to imagine the locks of your hair,
And the voluptuous curves that you have.
The sweet symphony that your body plays,
And the words that your lips say.

Allow me, O'beauty! For I do not wish to die like this.
Let me cherish the goodies for a few moments of eternal bliss.

This Social Experiment will change the way you think in less than 4 minutes.

Recently, I went through this video my friend had shared with me on WhatsApp. Although, it happens very rarely that I get moved or touched deeply by watching a short video, because in a short time limit it takes a lot of skills and artistic execution to get your message through in the most appealing manner possible. However, these two guys, who run OckTv on YouTube, literally nailed it by carrying out this 'social experiment'.

I am sure that every one of us faces this situation in our everyday life. And, we normally look down upon such people, plus some us of even rebuke them harshly which is not an appropriate reaction to someone who's hungry. I am confident that this video will change the way you think. :)

For a pearl. - II

I think, in every poet's life there comes a moment when his pen never stops writing about a person who he finds special, lovable, and worthy of writing for.
And, when he finds that person, he puts words on paper to express in part, thoughts from him right to her heart.

For a pearl.

A courtesan.

Intoxicating smoke,
And glittering lights,
A beauty dances,
And they stare her with shameless eyes.

Her reluctant moves,
Her selfless soul,
Her empty face,
What a miserable life; they unfold.

Look, how her feet dance and sway,
Crushing beneath them her dignity,
Look, how her eyes speaks the words she won’t say,
Telling the tale of her life; fallen prey to masculinity.

P.S. We look down upon those women who are a part of prostitution but, we do not want to fix the conditions which compel them to resort to such an evil act.

An ode to a Beauty.

Mesmerizing eyes; look how they gaze,
Every time they send me,
To an inescapable maze.

Charming cheeks; look how they glow,
Thou art the gifted one,
Of the beauty He rarely bestow.

Beautiful lips; look how they tantalize,
Holding many sweet words,
O'beauty, please vocalise.

Look at those ears; embellished with pearls,
O'beauty, listen to my melody,
Let me make you twirl.

Look at that face; outdoing the moon,
For its single glimpse,
I will walk a thousand miles,
When ever it will wear a smile. .

Becoming one. . .

I long for love, specifically, I long for her; to keep looking into her eyes and feel myself mesmerized.

I long for her warmth; so my heart remain warm and filled with love.

I long for her hair; so that I may get tangled in the fragrance and could never free myself.

I long for her lips to quench my thirst which I do not want to quench as I want to keep drinking her wine.

I long for a gentle touch and her soft cheeks. Most importantly, I long to provide my shoulder whenever she weeps....

I long to colour myself with the colour of her soul; draping each other's bodies and becoming one...

How to make a random person feel special. . .

Quoting Time Magazine:

"An awkward task turned into something kind of incredible.
A first kiss can be awkward. It can be nerve-racking. But it can also be magical."

FIRST KISS from Tatia Pilieva on Vimeo.

It happens very rarely that I get deeply moved just by watching a couple of minutes long video. First Kiss by Tatia Pilieva is one such video which has moved me. The concept of 20 complete strangers kissing each-other for the first time is not so appealing but, the way she has captured those enthralling moments, filled with love, are magical. However, in our country, a kiss is something which you cannot give to a random guy/girl but, in my opinion, a random act of love such as a warm hug, a tender touch and holding one's hand would suffice the need for making one another feel SPECIAL & HAPPY.

Being a common man.

Since last two years, I have been experiencing a severe poet's block (my variant for writer's block) and that is why I couldn't come up with any new poems. However, I believe that some events or incidents really inspire a person to express. Similarly, a great movie named The Pursuit of Happyness persuaded me to pen few words about the life of a common man, as it was brilliantly depicted by Will Smith.

A common man always struggle not for himself but, for the people he values the most. A common man is a father who has to feed. A common man is an husband who has to take care. A common man is an employee who has to make both ends meet. And, a common man is a loner because he leaves people and they leave him. In the end, a common man is a hero who lives for others and dies for himself.

P.S. Being a common man, I salute all real life heroes.

Let's walk down . . . .

Lets walk down the memory lane,
Lets chase some fun and forget every pain. . . .

Lets remove every doubt and every lie,
Lets cuddle each other, please don't deny. . . .

Lets dance endlessly into this night,
With sparkling stars as our guests and moon be the spotlight. . . .

Let me hold you close and look in your beautiful eyes,
I want your eternal loving for my entire life. . . .

Let me bow before you and ask with pride,
You're my ideal girl, will you be my Bride?

Ground beneath her feet

(N.B: After listening an outstanding number sung by U2 named "Ground beneath her feet" i was totally moved by the charm of it and decided to pen a poem with the same title. It's an inspiration not plagiarism!)

Her beautiful face struck through my heart,
And her smile made me feel,
To just prostrate on,
The Ground beneath her feet...

She entered my life like a divine being,
A beauty nowhere else to be seen,
The unforgettable moments i still hold in my memory,
When i saw her for the first time; in sheen...

Her melodious voice harmonized my heartbeat,
And rhythmic pattern of words so sweet,
Just compelled me to be,
The one who prostrate on the "Ground beneath her Feet"

Confessions of a Wanderer

In this darkness i am,
Alone and it's cold,
Even my Shadow is gone,
And there's no hand for me to hold...

The path is long,
With many ups and downs,
And i hide all sorrows,
Behind the mask of a clown...

The Sun is shining bright,
But all i see is the Dark,
It's not the absence of light,
But something happened to my heart...

No-one gives me love,
So i seek it in hate,
This is how life treats me,
I don't curse my fate!

Thick haze surrounds me,
That's why my vision isn't getting clearer,
I wish to be with those people,
Who are to me Dearer...

I will keep following my dreams,
Until i am done,
Because i read it somewhere,
"IF YOU WANT TO SHINE, FIRST YOU
NEED TO BURN LIKE A SUN!!!"

Hopes

Note: I had penned this poem keeping the current situation of my beloved Country(Pakistan) in my mind. Pakistan isn't a terrorist state but it is badly affected by it.

I hope this country becomes a model of peace,
Birds go home and we could Happily Sleep.

I hope that window opens and let the light comes in,
So that we go out from this darkness and wash away our sin.

I hope this Chaos turns into Serenity Slowly,
So that no more Head hangs lowly.

I hope no sorrow prevails in any beautiful eye,
So that everyone could recognize Happiness whether if its disguised.

I hope to see only pleasure and glory,
Neither War nor anything that's gory.

I hope unbelief get turned into faith,
and Satan get lost somewhere in haze.

I hope everyone struggle till die and fall,
Just like a tree in thunderstorm stands tall.

I hope poor and rich stand together,
Not only on judgment day but in this life forever...

After reading this you'll conclude that i'm on dopes,
But i'm just a person promulgating my HOPES......

These Walls

The Voice i hear in this silence,
Encourage me to break these walls,
Which have broken my fragile dreams,
Now I’m afraid that i might fall;

Illusions i see in my thoughts,
Remind me of days when with fate i fought,
Just like a warrior with a sword in hand,
Aims to win battle or die making enemy crawl;

Everyone so consumed in their masquerade,
No-one seems to hear my calls,
The Voice i hear in this silence tells,
Me to get up and Break these Walls………………
